What is it?
Quo Vadis is a summer camp for high school young men, with our Philadelphia seminarians. Quo Vadis means “Where are you going?” Legend tells us that St. Peter asked Jesus this question as he was fleeing Rome only to see Jesus headed toward Rome with a cross on his shoulder.
The camp will include daily Mass, a special Mass with an auxilliary bishop, reconciliation, and Eucharistic Adoration. There will also be a ropes course, time for fishing, flag football, and an orienteering course. There is a family BBQ on the opening day.
Sponsored by the Vocation Office for the Diocesan Priesthood, this camp provides a time of fun, prayer, and conference to help young men explore, with our seminarians, the themes of the camp: Leading as Christ, Sacramental Love, and Vocation.
Other activities include: Liturgy of the Hours, Rosary walks, a Eucharistic Procession, talks and discussion groups.
Where is it?
Quo Vadis Days 2010 will be held at beautiful Diamond Ridge Conference Center in Jamison, PA in central Bucks County.
Participants will be sleeping in modern residence halls.
