What year did you enter the seminary?

2009

What did you do prior to seminary entrance?

I attended Franciscan University of Steubenville.

What influenced your decision to enter the seminary?

I am excited that I could one day be a priest. I heard if I transferred I could potentially finish two years earlier than if I waited until I graduated first.

Why do you want to be a priest?

My whole life God has been calling me closer and closer. This for me was the next step and after moving toward it I never want to look back.

What did your family and friends think about your decision to enter the seminary?

My family has always been very supportive and my friends back at Steubenville couldn’t be more excited.

What do you do for fun?

I like to read books about spirituality and be with my family and friends. I love to ride my bike and play sports. I also enjoy singing.

Who is your favorite Saint?

St. Francis of Assisi

What advice would you give to a young man thinking about the seminary?

God will help you if it is even a thought in your mind. Chances are there is someone (a priest, teacher or friend) you respect. Talk to them about it and, at the very least, giver the Vocation Office a call. They will be glad to help.
