The most powerful influence was Eucharistic Adoration joined to the Rosary. Several priest friends were also good witnesses to me and gave me counsel and invited me to serve Mass for them.

First, because I believe God wills it. I relish the opportunity to offer my life to Him in this way.

My friends, especially my close friends, were supportive, even though many of them were not Catholic. My family took time to warm up to the idea but they are happy that I am happy here.

I really like to play soccer and racquetball. I like to kayak, hike and sometimes just take a walk. I also like reading many different kinds of books.

Saint Augustine of Hippo

What advice would you give to a young man thinking about the seminary?

Be not afraid! Take the steps you feel God leads you to take – His love and power will lead you safely and surely to joy and fulfillment.
