What year did you enter the seminary?
2005

What did you do prior to seminary entrance?
Attended Saint Aloysius Academy and Bishop Shanahan High School.

What influenced your decision to enter the seminary?

The loving support of my parents, the encouragement of good priests, and the persistent call of God.

 

Why do you want to be a priest?

I want to be a priest so that I may be a living sign of Jesus Christ on earth and bring people closer to Him through the sacraments.


What did your family and friends think about your decision to enter the seminary?

My parents are very excited and supportive about my entering the seminary, and my friends think it would be great to be friends with a priest.


What do you do for fun?

I enjoy playing tennis, writing, and playing the piano.


Who is your favorite Saint?
Saint John Neumann. He is my patron saint and is a great model of priesthood and is a great example of a missionary Christ.

What advice would you give to a young man thinking about the seminary?

Have courage; “Seek God’s will in your life and live it!” If you seek and do His will, you will never go wrong.
