What did you do prior to seminary entrance?
I was a Youth Minister at my parish.
What influenced your decision to enter the seminary?
Priests that I have met along my spiritual journey have greatly influenced my decision to enter the seminary.
Why do you want to be a priest?
I want to be a priest in order to help people know Christ in their own personal way. We do this through the Sacraments and in understanding the Word of God.
What did your family and friends think about your decision to enter the seminary?
My family and friends were supportive of my decision to enter the seminary. Some were surprised, but all were supportive.
What do you do for fun?
I try to play as many sports as possible. I also like to hang out with friends both in and outside of the seminary. I like to spend time at the beach as well.
Who is your favorite Saint?
St. Augustine
What advice would you give to a young man thinking about the seminary?
I would tell the young man to spend time listening to God. Prayer is important, but it is also important to silence yourself and listen. I would encourage the man to embrace the mystery of the Eucharist as well. If you can, allow yourself to open up to the call of Christ.
