Family Information: how big is your family, are you an uncle?
I am the second oldest of seven children.  I have five sisters and a brother.
I attended St. Joseph Elementary School and Bishop Shanahan High School

 

When Did you enter the Seminary? 2010

 

What/Who Influenced your decision?
My old pastor- Father Cox, my family and other parish priests

 

Why do you want to be a priest?
So that I can bring Jesus to so many people who have no idea how much He loves them.

 

What did your family and friends think about your decision to enter the seminary?
They were very supportive and I am very thankful for their ongoing support.

 

How often do you pray?
As much as I can, even if it is for only a few minutes.

 

What do you do for fun?
Play sports- especially snowboarding, and socialize with friends

 

What is it like to live in a seminary?
It is much different from home in the sense of noice, but it is mostly a great place for prayer.

 

What is the best part of the seminary for you?
The fellowship of the other seminarians

 

What is the hardest part of the seminary for you?
Being away from my family every day.

 

What advice would you give to a young man thinking about the priesthood?
Pray, even when it does not seem necessary.  Be thankful and be open to your calling.  Most importantly, do not be afraid to follow Christ.
