My family consists of my mother and father, and I am the youngest of three.

 

What schools have you attended?
Greentree Elementary, Greenwood Middle School, and Kingwood High School, all being in Texas

 

When did you enter the seminary?
The Fall of 2010

 

What/Who influenced that decision?
My family, friends, spiritual director, and God.

 

Why do you want to be a priest?
For the salvation of souls

 

What did your family and friends think about your decision to enter the seminary?
They were extremely supportive, Deo Gratias!

 

How often do you pray?
As often as I can.  The divine office has been a vital part in my discernment to the holy Priesthood.

 

What do you do for fun?
I enjoy cooking.

 

What is it like to live in a seminary?
Awesome!  The environment at St. Charles is a perfect place to live and discern your vocation.

 

What is the best part of the seminary for you?
Living in community with the brothers who are also discerning the call to the priesthood.

 

What is the hardest part of the seminary for you?
The daily horarium (the schedule).  Let’s just say that I like to sleep.

 

What advice would you give to a young man thinking about the priesthood?
Allow the good Lord to work in and through your discernment.  Keep a solid and consistent prayer life, and allow no room for discouragement.
